TBILISI. Jan 8 (Interfax-AVN) - Chairman of the Georgian state border guard department Valery Chkheidze met Chinese Ambassador to Georgia Zhang Yongcuan and Military Attache Sui Changdun here on Tuesday to discuss development of bilateral cooperation in the border guard sphere.
The Chinese officials passed a draft agreement on border cooperation to Chkheidze, a spokesman for the Georgian state border guard department told Interfax-Military News Agency. The document envisages exchanges of operative data and coordinated measures against illegal activities, including terrorism.
According to data obtained by the department, the document will be signed in Beijing. The date of the Georgian delegation's visit to China is not yet fixed.
