MOSCOW. Jan 11 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has issued a decree ordering Russian secret services and other law enforcement agencies to tighten measures against international terrorism.
This decree has been issued in line with UN Security Council Resolution 1373 of September 28, 2001, the presidential press service told Interfax on Friday.
The decree also points to the need to establish a criminal punishment for the premeditated provision or raising of funds by Russian citizens or those on Russian territory with the intention to commit an act of terrorism or knowing that these funds will finance such acts.
