Macedonian army's chief-of-staff to arrive in Ukraine Monday afternoon

KYIV. Jan 14 (Interfax-AVN) - A Macedonian military delegation led by Chief-of-Staff of the Armed Forces Metode Stamboliski is expected to arrive in Kyiv on Monday afternoon, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Defense Ministry told Interfax- Military News Agency.

Stamboliski is planning to meet with Ukrainian Defense Minister Volodymyr Shkidchenko, Foreign Minister Anatoliy Zlenko and chairman of the state border protection committee Nikolai Litvin, the spokesman said. Besides, he will hold talks with Ukrainian Chief-of-Staff and First Deputy Defense Minister Pyotr Shulyak to share experience in the armed forces restructuring and discuss the state and prospects of military and military- technical cooperation.

Members of the Macedonian delegation are planning to visit the Ukrainian National Defense Academy and 7th ordnance repair plant of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry during their stay in Kyiv, the spokesman added.
