KHANKALA. Feb 11 (Interfax-AVN) - Federal troops have found and destroyed a rebel group in a special operation in the village of Chechen-Aul, Grozny rural district.
The group of three was hiding in a house, Interfax was told at the headquarters of the federal force in the North Caucasus on Monday.
When federal troops tried to detain them, the rebels opened fire. All three were killed in the exchange, the headquarters said.
