ROSTOV-ON-DON. Feb 11 (Interfax-AVN) -Chief-of-Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Anatoly Kvashnin is holding a conference with the North Caucasus military district command behind closed doors in Rostov-on-Don, a spokesman for the district headquarters told Interfax-Military News Agency.
Kvashnin arrived in Rostov-on-Don from Chechnya, the spokesman said.
Participants in the conference will discuss the reform of the district troops and support of the Chechnya campaign. The conference started with a report of district commander Colonel General Gennady Troshev.
Kvashnin was visiting Chechnya from February 6 to 9.
