MOSCOW. Feb 13 (Interfax-AVN) - Air Force Commander Vladimir Mikhailov flew to the Yaroslavl region in central European Russia on Wednesday, Colonel Alexander Drobyshevsky, chief of the Air Force press service, told Interfax-Military News Agency.
Mikhailov is expected to visit the Saturn research and production association to study the progress in design of aircraft engines for the Air Force, including an engine for the fifth-generation fighter, Drobyshevsky said.
Besides, the commander will visit Saturn's design bureau to hold a working conference and hear reports of designers engaged in the fifth-generation engine development.
