KYIV. Feb 13 (Interfax-Ukraine) - The Ukrainian Defense Ministry has denied accusations of Kyiv's involvement in the illegal sale of arms abroad, in particular the sale of T-55 tanks to the Taliban, the regime that formerly ruled Afghanistan.
"Recent media speculation about Ukraine's alleged violation of its international obligations, relating to the export of military-purpose commodities, is based on unchecked information obtained from doubtful sources," the press service for the Ukrainian Defense Ministry told Interfax.
