KABUL. Feb 20 (Interfax-AVN) - The U.S. has lost a considerable number of troops and military equipment during the anti-terrorist operation in Afghanistan.
Ninety U.S. servicemen have been killed and some 100 injured during the military action in Afghanistan, U.S. military sources in Kabul told Interfax.
The sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity, also said that among the lost military equipment is a U.S. B1B strategic bomber, three planes of other types and seven helicopters.
During the operation in Afghanistan, which began on October 7, 2001, the Americans have also lost four pilotless jets, each of which costs over USD20m. av cj
