GROZNY. Feb 22 (Interfax-AVN) - A policeman and a local resident were murdered in Grozny's Zavodsky district on Friday.
A joint patrol discovered an abandoned Izh-412 car without license plates 150 meters outside the central market place across the street from Hotel Kolos, which is now under reconstruction, Interfax was told at district police headquarters.
The bodies of police sergeant Tamerlan Atayev and 26-year- old local resident Isa Labazanov were found in the car.
Both had been killed with great brutality - at least six rounds were fired at the head and chest of each of them. All the wounds were lethal, Interfax was told.
