Bomber crash site in northwest Russia found

PSKOV. Feb 22 (Interfax-AVN) - Search teams have finally discovered the site where a SU-24 Fencer frontline bomber crashed during a training flight over the Pskov region in northwest Russia on Tuesday.

At the headquarters of the search Interfax was told that the crash site was discovered by a helicopter. The bomber crashed in the woods in an area difficult to access from the ground.

Rescue workers are expected to be taken to the crash site shortly.

Nothing is known so far as to what happened to the crew.
