BISHKEK. Feb 27 (Interfax-AVN) - Three first French Mirage 2000 D fighter planes landed at the Bishkek international Manas airport on Wednesday.
Another three Mirage 2000 D fighters and two tanker planes will land at Manas later in the day, representatives of the French contingent included in the anti-terrorist coalition and stationed in the Manas airport told reporters.
The French Mirage planes will perform training flights over Kyrgyz territory starting on Thursday, the French military said.
A total of 450 French servicemen will be deployed at the Manas airport. The international military contingent of the anti- terrorist coalition currently stationed in Bishkek totals 1,200 people.
