Training session starts in Ukrainian Land Forces

KYIV. March 25 (Interfax-AVN) -A training session involving commanders of units, chiefs of branches and services of the southern operational command within the Ukrainian Land Forces started at facilities of the 32nd army corps stationed in the Crimea, a spokesman for the Land Forces Command said on Monday.

"The aim of the session supervised by the corps' commander Major General Anatoliy Pushnyakov is to check and improve firing, tactical and special skills of commanders," the spokesman told Interfax-Military News Agency.

The session will feature a demonstrative exercise dealing with methods of units' actions in accomplishment of peacekeeping units.

The session will last until the end of March.
