GROZNY. April 8 (Interfax-AVN) - Federal units staged seven mop-up operations in Chechnya on Sunday, killing 25 rebels and detaining 89 suspects, an official in the headquarters in charge of the anti-terrorist operation in the North Caucasus told Interfax on Monday.
Federals seized 18 pieces of small arms, 29 artillery shells, 20 mines, 94 grenades and a large number of cartridges.
In addition, 76 illegal oil refineries were destroyed, more than half of them in Grozny.
