Italian military delegation to visit St. Petersburg

ST.PETERSBURG. April 16 (Interfax-AVN) - An Italian military delegation led by Land Forces Commander Gianfranco Ottogali will fly to St. Petersburg from Moscow on Wednesday, a spokesman for the Leningrad military district headquarters told Interfax- Military News Agency.

The delegation will meet with the district's commander Colonel General Valentin Bobryshev the same day, the spokesman said.

In addition, the 10 members of the delegation will travel to the 138th separate guard motorized rifle division stationed in the Kamenka village in the Leningrad region. The division is a permanent readiness unit. The Italian military will study everyday training, life and activities of the division's personnel.

The delegation will fly to Rome on Friday using a special plane of the Italian Air Force.
