GROZNY. April 18 (Interfax-AVN) - The terrorist acts in Grozny on Thursday morning "were organized and carried out by the gang of Rizvan Akhmadov," head of the Chechen Department of the Federal Security Service General Sergei Babkin told Interfax.
"Akhmadov's rebels are involved in almost every crime in the town," Babkin said. "Akhmadov controls nearly every small group and rebels acting in Grozny and the suburbs."
The terrorist acts in Grozny on Thursday morning claimed the lives of 17 members of the Chechen riot police, according to updated information.
