MOSCOW. April 19 (Interfax-AVN) - Two suspects have been detained in relation to Thursday's terrorist attack in Grozny, when 18 servicemen of the Chechen riot police were killed.
About 50 people from 15 to 30 years old were detained during raids in the Leninsky and Staropromyslovsky districts in Grozny, the Federal Security Service Department in Chechnya told Interfax- Military News Agency on Friday. Raids were especially intensive in the area surrounding the scene of the blasts.
Two suspects, a man and a woman, are being investigated in relation to the attack, the department said.
The restrictions imposed on traffic in Grozny in the wake of the attack were lifted on Friday. All checkpoints have been functioning in the regular mode since Friday morning. The blockade was lifted off the area where the blasts occurred.
