Over 50 Russian enterprises to exhibit their products at Berlin aerospace show

MOSCOW. May 6 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian aircraft makers will exhibit the MIG-29M2 multifunctional fighter, BE-200 and BE-103 amphibians and AN-38 and IL-102 multipurpose planes at the ILA 2002 international aerospace show that opens in Berlin on Monday.

The Aviaexport and Rosoboronexport companies have rented over 600 square meters of exhibition grounds to demonstrate products of more than 50 Russian enterprises that are making both end products and aircraft components, Alexander Voinov, director of Aviaexport affiliate Aviaexposervis, told Interfax-Military News Agency.

Among the enterprises are the Sukhoi military aircraft corporation, MIG aircraft corporation, Molnia research and production enterprise, Yakovlev design bureau, Tupolev JS. Gidromash JS, Leninets holding company, Fazotron NIIR corporation and Energomash research and production association.

Russia will have a comprehensive section at the show that will comprise aviation and space subsections, Voinov said. "We will try to demonstrate the entire spectrum of Russian aircraft industry's capabilities," he stressed. Several meetings and negotiations will potential customers of Russian aircraft enterprises will be held during the meeting, the official noted.

Director General of the Russian Aviation and Space Agency Yuri Koptev will lead the Russian delegation to the show.
