KRASNOYARSK. May 7 (Interfax-AVN) - The military helicopter that crashed in the Altai mountains earlier on Tuesday may have carried snowboarders.
A source in the Krasnoyarsk rescue service told Interfax- Military News Agency on condition of anonymity that by some reports "snowboarders asked the helicopter crew who were practicing take off and landing at different altitudes to give them a lift to the next landing site." These reports are being verified, he said.
