CIS special service chiefs to meet in Georgia

TBILISI. May 8 (Interfax-AVN) - A delegation of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) and their Georgian colleagues are preparing a meeting of the CIS special service chiefs, Georgian State Security Minister Valery Khaburdzaniya told Interfax on Wednesday.

The Coordination Council of the CIS special service chiefs will be convened in the resort of Likani from May 14 to 17, Khaburdzaniya said.

"The fight against terrorism will probably become the key issue on the agenda," he said.

The meeting will "play a positive role" in boosting ties between CIS security agencies, he said.
