ROSTOV-ON-DON. May 17 (Interfax-AVN) - An IL-76 Candid military medical plane carrying 14 marines injured in a terrorist act in Kaspiysk and eight of their relatives flew to Moscow from the Voenved airfield in Rostov-on-Don on Friday, a spokesman for the military hospital of the North Caucasus military district told Interfax-Military News Agency.
The marines are sent for further treatment to central hospitals of the Defense Ministry main military medical department, the spokesman said.
At present 32 victims of the terrorist act are treated in the district's hospital. A marine is in grave condition, and the condition of three more injured people is considered by doctors medium grave.
