MOSCOW. May 18 (Interfax-AVN) - A three-day strategic command post training will take place in the Russian Armed Forces in the beginning of the summer training period under the supervision of Chief-of-Staff Anatoly Kvashnin, a competent source in the Defense Ministry told Interfax-Military News Agency on Saturday.
The training will be held in accordance with a plan of military control bodies training. Its participants are expected to test in practice combat and mobilization readiness of several military districts, in particular, the Siberian and Volga-Ural districts, as well as of arms of service. In addition, they will practice interaction of command and headquarters of military districts, armies and divisions, as well as of military commissioner's offices, in an emergency period.
Central military control bodies, control departments of several military districts, the airborne command, armies of various arms of service, and units of other law-enforcement agencies including the Federal Security Service, Interior and Emergencies Ministries will take part in the training.
