Bush touts historic visit to Russia

MOSCOW. May 24 (Interfax-AVN) - U.S. President George W. Bush has described his current visit to Moscow as historic. This is a day filled with hope for Russia, the United States and the rest of the world, Bush said.

Russia and the United States have ended a long chapter of confrontation and opened a new chapter, he said. The two countries will cooperate in all directions, he said.

By working together, we are making the world more peaceful, he said. Cooperating together, we will win in the first war of the 21st century, i.e., the war against cold-blooded murderers who want to inflict damage on such countries as the United States and Russia, he said.
