MOSCOW. May 29 (Interfax-AVN) - Russia so far has not been asked to take part in military operations.
"There have been no offers on this account so far," Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov told reporters in Moscow on Wednesday. "At least I don't know anything about them," he said.
Ivanov said he will visit Brussels on June 6, to attend the first meeting of the defense ministers of the revised NATO-Russia Council.
"Speaking about joint NATO-Russia operations, they are already being conducted in the Balkans," Ivanov said.
