Russian Armed Forces to hold command post training June 27-30

MOSCOW. June 4 (Interfax-AVN) - A strategic command post training will happen in the Russian Armed Forces on June 27 to 30, a spokesman for the Defense Ministry told Interfax-Military News Agency.

The training will be supervised by Armed Forces Chief-of- Staff Anatoly Kvashnin.

According to the spokesman, "in the course of the training its participants are to practice increasing combat and mobilization readiness of units in the Far Eastern and Siberian military districts as well as modernization of cooperation between command and headquarters of districts, armies, divisions and military commissioner's offices in a special period."

The spokesman mentioned that the event will involve central military control bodies, control bodies from several military districts, commands of the airborne troops and armed forces services, bodies of other law-enforcement agencies including the Federal Security Service, Interior and Emergencies Ministries.
