KAZAN. June 5 (Interfax-AVN) - The crew and all passengers of a MI-17 Hip helicopter belonging to the Kazan helicopter plant survived a crash landing in Chile on Tuesday, a spokesman for the plant told Interfax-Military News Agency.
According to unofficial data, the helicopter carried 11 Russian citizens.
The reasons for the Hip's crash landing are being cleared out.
The MI-17 helicopter was supposed to participate in demonstration flights in Latin America.
