KHANKALA. June 5 (Interfax-AVN) - Russia's federal aviation is bombing rebel groups and bases as well as mountain passes in Chechnya.
Federal SU-24 Fencer and SU-25 Frogfoot planes flew ten missions in Chechnya, the unified federal headquarters told Interfax-Military News Agency on Wednesday.
"One rebel base, three strongholds and one relay station were destroyed and two obstructions were created in mountain passes as a result of the bombings," a military said.
