MOSCOW. July 5 (Interfax-AVN) - Secretary General of the Collective Security Council Valery Nikolayenko will address the meeting of ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary representing Russia abroad, a source in the council administration told Interfax-Military News Agency on Friday.
The source said that the ambassadors will come to Moscow to discuss combating against international terrorism within the frameworks of the Collective Security Treaty.
The session to be held from July 10 to July 12 will be chaired by Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov.
The spokesman added that a special emphasis will be put by Nikolayenko on combating against international terrorism within the frameworks of the Collective Security Treaty, implementation of objectives of the new regional organization of the treaty, goals of the Rapid Deployment Forces deployed in the Central Asia.
Six nations, namely Armenia, Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, signed the Collective Security Treaty on May 15, 2002.
