MOSCOW. Aug 26 (Interfax-AVN) - Chechen militants blasted a police UAZ vehilce on Sunday killing three and injuring three policemen, a source from Russian law enforcement agencies told Interfax-Military News Agency on Monday.
The terrorist act, in which a radio-guided bomb was used, took place near a checkpoint in the vicinity of the Chiri-Yurt village. "Fragments of a charge battery and components of a radio station were found at the explosion site, the source said.
According to earlier reports, the policemen killed in the attack were dispatcvhed to Chechnya from the Interior Ministry Department for the Lipetsk region.
