Armenian, Georgian DMs to sign several defense documents soon

YEREVAN. Sept 4 (Interfax-AVN) - Leaders of the Georgian and Armenian Defense Ministries will sign a number of documents aimed at strengthening cooperation in the sphere of defense, Colonel Seiran Shakhsuvaryan, press secretary of the Armenian defense minister, told Interfax-Military News Agency on Wednesday.

"The documents will be signed in the course of the first visit by Georgian Defense Minister David Tevzadze to Armenia that is to happen on September 16-17," Shakhsuvaryan said.

Moreover, Tevzadze and his Armenian counterpart Serzh Sarkisyan will discuss the implementation of a military cooperation agreement signed in summer this year during the visit of Georgian Chief-of-Staff Dzhoni Pirtskhalaishvili to Armenia.
