Russian Defense Ministry to host training session of Armed Forces engineering, technical command

MOSCOW. Sept 16 (Interfax-AVN) - A training session of the Armed Forces engineering and technical personnel leadership will be held at the Defense Ministry's main office from Monday to Friday, the ministry's press service reported.

"The agenda of the session that is to be supervised by Colonel General Alexei Moskovsky, chief of the Armed Forces armament department and deputy defense minister, envisages the consideration of issues related to modernizing the technical support system in the framework of the Armed Forces reform," a press service official told Interfax-Military News Agency.

According to him, special grounds located in the Kubinka village in the Moscow region will host an exhibition of modern types of armament and military hardware. "Some of them are the result of two-year work on the implementation of the state armament program," the official stressed.

The second stage of the session will happen at plants and technical grounds located in the Leningrad military district where leaders of the ministry's engineering and technical branches will study advanced technologies of technical support and repairs of armament and military hardware.
