VLADIKAVKAZ. Sept 20 (Interfax-AVN) - The bodies of two servicemen, a warrant officer and a private, have been found in the vicinity of a testing ground outside the village of Tarskoye in Russia's internal republic of North Ossetia, the republic's acting Interior Minister Soslan Sikoyev told Interfax on Friday.
The murders have nothing to do with ethnic enmity between Ossetians and Ingushi, he said.
A search is underway for a group of about 10 gunmen who shot the servicemen on Friday morning.
The group, carrying small arms, chiefly assault rifles, was spotted near Tarskoye. The gunmen fired at a car operated by the 58th Army at about 10:40 a.m. Moscow time (0640 GMT), killing warrant officer Vladimir An and Private Oleg Zinzivir.
