MOSCOW. Sept 24 (Interfax-AVN) - British ambassador to Moscow Sir Roderic Lyne will visit the Russian Foreign Ministry on Tuesday to discuss the situation in and around Iraq in connection with the publication of a special report on the Iraqi program of weapons of mass destruction in London.
"The British ambassador is expected to acquaint the Foreign Ministry leadership with the document," a diplomatic source in Moscow told Interfax.
Britain says the report contains evidence that the regime of Saddam Hussein still threatens intentional security.
The document, drafted by the office of Prime Minister Tony Blair, will be published in London in a few hours. Its publication is timed to the debate on Iraq due in the House of Commons later on Tuesday.
On Monday, Blair informed the Cabinet about the contents of the 50- page report.
