NAZRAN, Ingushetia. Sept 26 (Interfax-AVN) - A source in the Ingush security agencies told Interfax on Thursday that numerous foreign mercenaries were found among the nearly 70 rebels killed in a battle near the village of Galashki earlier in the day.
Arabs, Turks, a Georgian and one Briton are among them, he said.
The rebel unit that infiltrated the Russian internal republic of Ingushetia from Georgia was under the command of warlord Abdul Malik.
