MOSCOW. Oct 8 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian Air Force Commander Vladimir Mikhailov will make a working visit to Armenia from October 14 to 17, Deputy Air Force Commander Lieutenant General Yuri Bondarev said on Tuesday.
"In Yerevan, Mikhailov is planning to discuss military and military-technical cooperation in the framework of the CIS Unified Air Defense System," Bondarev told Interfax-Military News Agency.
The Russian Air Force commander is also expected to study the conditions of stationing of the 102nd Russian military base in Armenia. An aircraft grouping organic of the base accomplishes combat duty missions in cooperation with the Armenian air force and air defense in the framework of the CIS Unified Air Defense System, Bondarev said.
