Russian and Georgian Presidents Vladimir Putin and Eduard Shevardnadze ordered starting the joint patrolling of the border while they met at a CIS summit in Chisinau a week ago.

Working groups have already drawn up a draft agreement on this issue, which the chiefs of the Russian and Georgian border agencies should sign within the next few days, he said.
Khaburdzania noted that the Georgian and Russian law enforcement agencies and special services will work together permanently, and a Georgian delegation will visit Moscow in the near future.
