Russia rounds up privatization of companies organic of air defense consortium

MOSCOW. Oct 16 (Interfax-AVN) - Privatization of enterprises that are included in the Almaz-Antei air defense consortium has been completed, the consortium's press service reported on Wednesday.

"The privatization took place in strict accordance with planned terms. Thus, establishment of the air defense consortium launched in line with President Vladimir Putin's decree in April this year has entered the final stage," the report says.

The holding company comprises more than 40 enterprises developing and producing air defense and non-strategic anti- missile defense assets for all arms of service.
