MOSCOW. Oct 25 (Interfax-AVN) - The hostage-takers have promised to resume negotiations at 11:00 a.m. Moscow time (0700 GMT) on Friday on the release of foreigners from the theater in Moscow, Federal Security Service (FSB) spokesman Sergei Ignatchenko told journalists.
"Although we carried out all the demands they put forward to us, they refused to release the hostages for some reason," Ignatchenko pointed out.
Moscow city executive Alexander Muzykantsky told Interfax previously that foreign countries' ambassadors failed to attain the release of the foreign hostages from the Moscow theatre.
"The ambassadors and Red Cross representatives were there, but none of the hostages has been released," Muzykantsky said. The ambassadors remain in the vicinity of the building, he said.
