North Caucasus border guards detain seven violators on holidays

STAVROPOL. Nov 10 (Interfax-AVN) - Servicemen of the North Caucasus regional border guard department detained seven violators on holidays, the department's press service reported on Sunday.

Five violators were detained when trying to illegally cross the Russian-Azerbaijani border while two others, a 32 year old Russian woman and 28 year old South Ossetian resident, attempted to cross the Russian-Georgian border with alien passports. Both of them were detained by border guards of the Vladikavkaz detachment in the Nizhny Zaramag checkpoint.

On November 9 search groups of the Argun detachment found in Chechnya several caches with 23 82mm mortar shells, over 100 artillery shells and some 1,000 automatic guns cartridges.
