Polish DM to visit Ukraine Thursday-Friday

KYIV. Nov 13 (Interfax-AVN) - A Polish military delegation led by National Defense Minister Jerzy Szmajdzinski will arrive in Kyiv for a two-day visit on Thursday.

On the first day of his visit, Szmajdzinski will meet and negotiate with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Shkidchenko, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's press service reported. The parties are expected to discuss bilateral military and military-technical cooperation amd prospects of Ukraine-NATO cooperation and to share experience in the armed forces reform.

On Friday, Szmajdzinski is supposed to meet with President Leonid Kuchma, Foreign Minister Anatoliy Zlenko, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Yevhen Marchuk and First Deputy Prime Minister Oleh Dubyna.
