U.S., Danish, Indian military attaches visiting Ukrainian Air Force units

KYIV. Nov 27 (Interfax-AVN) - Military attaches of the U.S., Danish and Indian embassies in Ukraine are touring round military units of the Ukrainian Air Force stationed in the Crimean Peninsula and Poltava Region, the Defense Ministry press service reported on Wednesday.

In particular, the military attaches of the U.S. and Danish embassies are visiting Air Force units of the Poltava and Mirgorod garrisons, a press service official told Interfax- Military News Agency.

The aim of the tour is to study the progress in implementing the state program of the Ukrainian Armed Forces restructuring and development for up to 2005.

"The foreign guests will be allowed to study the infrastructure and training facilities of Ukrainian aviators, as well as the armament and military hardware samples," the official said.

Meanwhile, the Indian military attache is visiting the Chauda military test range in the Crimea, he added.
