KRASNOYARSK. Nov 27 (Interfax-AVN) - A large scientific program is planned at the second Siberian International Air Show, an official in the organizing committee told Interfax-Military News Agency Wednesday.
Although the Show will be declared open only December 7, two- day Reshetnev Scientific Readings that are part of the program will begin as early as December 4, the official said.
A full-term conference devoted to the prospects of space technology development, aircraft operation in low-temperature environment, and future transpolar airlines will begin its work December 6. There are delegations from France, Germany, Japan, and the U.S. that, along with leading Russian experts, have applied for participation.
More than 20 Russian and foreign firms have confirmed their participation in the show, including top spacecraft producers Reshetnev Applied Mechanics Production Association, Krasnoyarsk Machine-Building Plant, Saratov, Nizhny Novgorod, and Ulan-Ude Aviation Plants, Kharkiv State Aviation Enterprise, the Moscow agency of Boeing Operations International, Inc. (U.S.), and Reshetnev Siberian Aerospace Academy, as well as KrasAir airlines.
The exhibition within the show will take more than 1,500 square meters of the Krasnoyarsk Sports Palace. Flight-and-land hardware show will be held in the Krasnoyarsk airport.
