MOSCOW. Nov 27 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian Space Troops units have mounted a light Kosmos-3M launch vehicle with a Russian Mozhayets spacecraft and an Algerian AlSat-1 on a pad in Plesetsk cosmodrome for a launch at 9:07 a.m. Moscow time (0607 GMT) on Thursday, the Space Troops press service told Interfax-Military News Agency.
"The cosmodrome's crews moved the Kosmos-3M launch vehicle with the spacecraft on it from the mounting and testing structure to Launch Pad 132. The vehicle was mounted on launch fixture No. 1 by noon on Wednesday," a press service official said.
According to him, the cosmodrome's crews have started preparing the vehicle and spacecraft for the launch through autonomous tests of their on-board systems and the launcher's systems.
Pre-launch preparations are progressing in accordance with the schedule, the official said.
