MOSCOW. Dec 3 (Interfax-AVN) - Chiefs-of-staff of border guard agencies of the CIS member nations will meet in Moscow on Wednesday to discuss strengthening of cooperation in connection with the mounting action against international terrorism.
"The working conference will address ways to improve coordination between border guard agencies of the CIS member nations with a goal to ensure more reliable border protection taking into account the mounting efforts against international terrorism," Colonel General Nikolai Reznichenko, chief-of-staff of the Russian Federal Border Guard Service, told Interfax- Military News Agency.
During the conference, CIS border guards will share experience in combating drug trafficking, smuggling and illegal migration, he said.
According to Reznichenko, the chiefs-of-staff will study the work of the Federal Border Guard Service's central command post and information and analytical service, as well as the training of Russian border guards.
No documents are planned for signing at the conference, the general said.
