Russia receives report on Iraqi weapons programs - Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. Dec 11 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian representatives have received Iraq's report on its military programs, and it will be delivered to Moscow on Wednesday, Deputy Russian Foreign Minister Yuri Fedotov told Interfax.

Russia will study this report "with only one aim: to single out chapters that could pose a danger in terms of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction," Fedotov said.

"As for the examination of the Iraqi report on its merits, this will be the job of the UN Monitoring, Verification, and mandate," Fedotov said.
