GROZNY. Dec 31 (Interfax-AVN) - An accomplice of warlord Shamil Basayev, field commander Temerlan, might be involved in the organization the terrorist act near the Chechen government headquarters, a competent source in Chechen governing bodies told Interfax-Military News Agency on Tuesday.
He said that law-enforcement agencies obtained "quite reliable" intelligence daya to this effect.
"Not much has been heard about Temerlan, but there is information that he is directly involved in a series of subversive and terrorist acts that have lately been carried out in the republic," the source noted.
