NOVGOROD. Jan 15 (Interfax-AVN) - The military commissioner's office of the Novgorod region has registered an increase in the number of draftees with professional education.
"The results of the autumn draft of 2002 evidence that over 45% of all draftees have professional education, among them over 17% with higher and secondary special education," a spokesman for the military commissioner's office told Interfax-Military News Agency on Wednesday.
All military commissioner's offices in districts and the city of Novgorod coped with the draft. 100% of targeted persons were recruited for active-duty service.
"Only 16 people dodged the draft in the Novgorod region," the spokesman said.
In particular, the data confirms success of the information support campaign that took place during the draft, he added.
