KALININGRAD. Jan 16 (Interfax-AVN) - An international military inspection team of four led by Major Piez Didier of France completed its work at the Russian Baltic Fleet, the fleet's press service told Interfax-Military News Agency on Thursday.
"In accordance with requirements of the Vienna Agreement on strengthening trust measures and security in Europe, the inspectors checked the implementation of accords in the Baltic Fleet's units. In particular, the inspectors visited a training regiment of coastal troops, an aviation garrison and other units. According to inspectors, all obligations are being met," the press service said.
The next inspection team consisting of Lithuanian Armed Forces officials will visit the Baltic Fleet on January 20.
