No official statement received from Georgia on ending transport services provision to Russian troops - source

TBILISI. Jan 21 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian troops group in the Trans-Caucasus has received no official notification from Georgia on the possible suspension of transport and communication services provision in response to launching train service between Sochi and Sukhumi without coordination with Georgia.

"The blockade of the Russian troops group in the Trans- Caucasus is only a hypothetical intention at the moment," a source in the group told Interfax-Military News Agency on Tuesday.

According to him, "no warning signals have been received from the Georgian Defense Ministry with which the Russian troops group coordinates all transportation on the country's territory."

The source said that the Russian military in Armenia will be affected the most if the Georgian airspace is closed.
