Russian military delegation to participate in intl seminar on global strategic stability in U.S.

MOSCOW. Jan 22 (Interfax-AVN) - A Russian military delegation led by Deputy Chief-of-Staff Colonel General Yuri Baluyevsky has left for the United States, a competent source in the Russian Defense Ministry told Interfax-Military News Agency on Wednesday.

"The main aim of the four-day visit is participation in the international seminar on global strategic stability and security which is held annually at the Harvard University. Baluyevsky also plans to meet with several military officials of the U.S. and other NATO member nations," the source said.

He noted that Baluyevsky will report to the seminar on "the current stage of reform in the Russian Armed Forces".
