TBILISI. March 11 (Interfax-AVN) - A part of officers with the Russian troops group headquarters in the Trans-Caucasus region has been transferred from Georgia to Armenia in the framework of command optimization, chief of the group's press service Colonel Alexander Lutskevich said on Tuesday.
A combat management team of the group headquarters is operating in Armenia, Lutskevich told Interfax-Military News Agency. Thus, the transfer of officers did not bring about changes in the number of the group's personnel.
Lutskevich would not name the number of transferred officers.
The reform did not influence combat training plans of the group's units, he added.
